MRCA’s Young Contractors Council hosts ‘Timber Bash’ Casino Night at Annual Conference, Raises $14,500 for MRCA Foundation
Saint Paul, MN. — The Midwest Roofing Contractors Association’s Young Contractors Council hosted its annual Welcome Party during this year’s MRCA Conference, bringing contractors together for the “Timber Bash,” a casino night with a
lumberjack theme. The event, held on Oct. 21, 2024, in Saint Paul, MN, was a packed house, attracting a large crowd from across the industry for a night of networking, games and support for a meaningful cause.
This year’s Timber Bash combined casino games with a fun lumberjack theme, featuring a live DJ that kept the energy high throughout the night. It created an exciting atmosphere where young contractors could connect with peers and mentors. The night was a resounding success, raising $14,500 for the MRCA Foundation. These funds will support the Foundation’s initiatives in funding roofing industry education, industry-related research, academic scholarships, and strengthening resources available to roofing professionals across the Midwest.
The Young Contractors Council is a key MRCA initiative that provides networking, mentorship and professional growth opportunities for roofing contractors 40 and under. With events like the Timber Bash, the YCC helps foster the next generation of leaders, aligned with MRCA’s ongoing commitment to advancing the industry.
